Departing Rangers star Joe Worrall has penned an emotional message to fans as he leaves Glasgow and heads back to Nottingham Forest.
The Forest loanee, 22, has enjoyed a mixed spell in Glasgow. But no one can deny the big man’s commitment and passion.
Worrall has clearly enjoyed himself at Ibrox and will be as gutted as anyone that it didn’t end in silverware. But that doesn’t mean the defender didn’t catch the Rangers bug during his time here.
I’d like to say a massive thank you to @RangersFC for letting me play for your great club this season. From the fans, staff/players and the city of Glasgow, it has been a fantastic experience and the club has a special place in my heart 🇬🇧💙#WeAreThePeople pic.twitter.com/UJMWJJZeak

It’s an emotional message from Worrall and shows just how much the departing star valued his time in Glasgow.
From sterling performances in the Ibrox Old Firm and in Europe to the “amazing feeling” of scoring for Rangers, Worrall has immersed himself into the culture here. Sometimes a little too much [Express].
But there can be no doubting the big defender’s commitment to the cause. Worrall will return to Nottingham Forest with the best wishes of Rangers fans everywhere.
The former England U21 international is very highly rated at the City Ground and there’s no doubt his time in Glasgow will see him in good stead going forward.

Thanks for your efforts this season Joe and all the best for the future. You never know, it might not be the last we see of the defender at Ibrox either.
