Colombia manager Carlos Queiroz has confirmed that he plans to watch on-fire Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos ahead of picking his next squad.
The Gers hitman has been in fantastic form, hitting the net 27 times this season so far.
“It’s very important to watch and speak to my European-based players and I intend to do that,” Queiroz said, as quoted by Football Scotland.
“There are others I want to see too like David Ospina from Napoli, Radamel Falcao at Monaco and Alfredo Morelos at Rangers.”
The striker made his international debut against Venezuela last season and has gone from strength to strength since.
After hitting four goals in his last club appearance, Morelos will be champing at the bit to get back to action after suspension.
He missed yesterday’s win over Hamilton but is free to play on Wednesday when the Gers welcome Dundee to Ibrox.
Morelos had represented Colombia at various youth levels before making his senior bow and will be hoping to impress Queiroz.
The former Real Madrid boss will take his side to Asia next month in preparation for the Copa America later this year.
