Celtic manager Neil Lennon has hit back at Rangers fans, as quoted by the Scottish Sun.
The former Northern Ireland international was recently appointed as full-time boss at Parkhead, having seen out the final few months of the season as an interim manager [BBC Sport].

He oversaw the Hoops’ 2-1 Scottish Cup final win last Saturday and helped get the league title over the line. However, his appointment has been extremely well received by Rangers fans.
Considering names like Andre Villas-Boas and Rafa Benitez were linked with the post, Lennon looks an unadventurous call from the Celtic board.
Furthermore, Steven Gerrard has already won an Old Firm with the 47-year-old in the opposing dugout. Rangers were totally dominant in their 2-0 win at Ibrox last month.
However, Lennon is adamant he’ll prove joyous Bears wrong.
“They have been wrong before, on numerous occasions,” he said, as quoted by the Scottish Sun. “Hopefully they’ll be wrong again.”
“What else are they going to say?

There’s no doubt Lennon has been there and done it before with Celtic. Yet, this time around a completely different task awaits him.
Rangers are a genuine force once more, and with some strong recruitment this summer, they’ll be in great shape for 2019/20.
I’m sure Stevie G would much rather be coming up against a manager he’s already beaten, than a famed tactician such as Benitez, next season.
