Brazen Rangers fans hijack Aberdeen supporter poll to hilarious effect

Rangers fans have hijacked an online poll by voting for Ibrox midfielder Ryan Jack as the best Aberdeen midfielder of the decade.

The Aberdeen based Evening Express innocently posed the question to Dons fans as they look to build a “Dons of the Decade” XI reflecting on the last 10 years.

But little did they know cheeky Rangers fans would be on hand to hijack the poll and vote in former Aberdeen captain Ryan Jack as their best centre mid of the last 10 years.

If you think that voting for Ryan Jack was cheeky enough from the Rangers supporters, the club’s fans are also voting for ex-Ibrox star Gavin Rae.

Such was the upsurge in Rangers fans taking the online poll, Ryan Jack’s position on the list shot up dramatically.

So much so that it remains unlikely he will be caught and eagle-eyed fans have now switched their attentions to getting Gavin Rae up the leader board.

Superb stuff from the bears.

Aberdeen fans remain bitter about the nature of Ryan Jack’s departure to Rangers after his contract expired at Pittodrie.

It’s pretty sad when you consider Jack played 250 times for Aberdeen, captaining the club and spending over a decade with the Dons.

It means he plays the role of villain upon every trip up north and his position at the top of that list probably wouldn’t have happened without the help of the Ibrox fans.

And if you think that I’m going to click that link and vote Ryan Jack and then refresh it to vote Gavin Rae as soon as I’m done writing this article, then you’d be absolutely correct.
