Manchester United loanee Amad Diallo has professed his love for Rangers after the Gers booked their place in the Europa League final – making it back-to-back finals for the Ivorian youngster.
Amad was an unused sub as Rangers beat RB Leipzig 3-2 on aggregate but was loving life as he took to social media shortly after the final whistle in Glasgow.
Despite his limited gametime at Rangers since his loan move from Manchester United, the forward seems to have gotten the club under his skin as he partied with his Ibrox teammates.
With the Light Blues now preparing for a glamour showdown with Eintracht Frankfurt in Seville later this month, the fleet-footed forward will be hoping he can force his way into the side.
Rangers also have a Scottish Cup final on the horizon against Hearts at Hampden and Amad could return to Old Trafford a double winner after his stint in Glasgow.
Last year, Amad was an unused sub for United as they lost out on penalties to Villarreal 11-10 and he’ll be desperate to go one better this time around.
Amad could spend next season at Ibrox on loan if he has impressed
While Amad is due to return to Old Trafford in the summer, it isn’t a huge stretch to say he’s unlikely to be immediately pushing for first-team football under Erik Ten Hag.
If the new Man United boss wants to send him out on loan again then the wonderkid, who United paid £37m for, could find himself back at Ibrox.
Finding an environment he is comfortable in will be a big help to his development and an extended stay with the potential Europa League winners would be a great place to be.
