Star striker Alfredo Morelos’ latest comments may leave many Rangers fearing the January Transfer Window, rather than looking forward to it.
The Colombian has been prolific for the Gers this season, scoring his 20th goal of the season against Hibernian, yesterday.

He is undoubtedly the clubs biggest asset and manager, Steven Gerrard, has consistently stated that he is not for sale in January.
However, as quoted by the Daily Record, Morelos has had his own say on his future on Colombia’s Radio Blu, Blog Deportivo programme.
“It’s very likely there are several teams looking at me and that there will be offers, but there is nothing concrete yet”, he said.
“I have to wait until the last game of the year is played and will try to end 2018 in a positive way.”

Those comments were rather vague, but it was the next statement which is the real cause for concern.
“My dream is to play in the English Premier League”, he added.
Disappointing comments for Rangers
It seems that should a big team from down south come knocking, he would be more than open to a move.
Many overseas players share the same dream, as the Premier League is where a lot of the big names are playing and where the big money can be found.
However, Rangers fans would have hoped that at only 22, Morelos would be happy to stay at Ibrox for a while longer.

As he made abundantly clear at St Johnstone, he is this team’s talisman and match-winner. Rangers need to do everything they can to keep him at Ibrox, at least until the summer.
If he leaves now, any title challenge is effectively over.
