Rangers Colts secured their place in the City of Glasgow Cup final last night with a 2-0 win over Clyde at Broadwood – and Gers fans were buzzing after seeing the youngsters impress.
Goals in either half from Glenn Middleton sent Kevin Thomson and Brian Gilmour’s side on their way to the final where they will meet bitter rivals Celtic next month.

The Colts were in fantastic form and outclassed their senior opponents as the League One side struggled to get to grips with the speed and intensity of the young Gers.
Middleton’s perfomance particularly caught the eye, with the Scotland under-21 star utilised on the right of the front three before being moved centrally for the final 20 minutes.
The former Norwich youngster wasn’t the only one to impress for the Gers but his double had fans raving about his performance with the Gers looking to get their hands on the trophy for a 14th time as a youth side.
Fans were really impressed with Middleton – with one fan saying he could walk into half of the Premiership sides’ starting XIs.
