Rangers Academy coach on the move as he joins Stenhousemuir

Rangers under-18s goalkeeping coach Connor Brennan is on the move this summer as he continues to combine coaching the Ibrox youngsters with a part-time playing career.

Brennan, who has just come off the back of an excellent season for East Kilbride in the Lowland League, will join League Two side Stenhousemuir and has been part of the Rangers coaching staff since 2018.

The Warriors confirmed the shot-stopper’s signing on their official Twitter account last night as they begin rebuilding ahead of the new campaign.

Stenhousemuir finished fifth in League Two in the season just ended, with Stephen Swift’s side ending the campaign narrowly outside the playoff places.

Brennan’s combined role with Rangers under-18s and East Kilbride actually saw the keeper turn out for EK against Rangers B in the Lowland League this season.

Both sides recorded 2-1 wins at home in their Lowland League meetings, Brennan playing both times for East Kilbride.

His move to Stenhousemuir will now see him look to help the Warriors push for promotion to League One and build on an excellent campaign that saw him win Kilby’s Supporter’s Player of the Year Award.
